Orders and samples
Registration, numbering, chain of custody, test packages and barcode labels. Clients choose a package, not a method from a standard.
CandorLims keeps samples, results, microbiology and quality control together. It is built for laboratories that need order and an audit trail without the weight of an enterprise system.
| Number | Sample | Test | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| LAB/2026/00412 | Vegetable salad | Listeria monocytogenes | Conforming |

Illustrative preview with sample data. The application interface is currently in Polish.
The modules are connected, so nobody retypes data from one spreadsheet to another.
Registration, numbering, chain of custody, test packages and barcode labels. Clients choose a package, not a method from a standard.
Dilution series, colony counts according to ISO 7218, results such as <10 and >10⁵, and confirmation stages for Salmonella and Listeria.
Automatic conforming / non-conforming evaluation against limits, including n/c/m/M sampling plans under Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005.
Control charts with Westgard rules, proficiency tests, non-conformities and corrective actions (CAPA) with a recorded rationale.
Calibrations and maintenance of instruments, and analysts' authorisations. The system checks who may approve results, and on which equipment.
Issue reports signed with a PIN, with the laboratory's logo, and a portal where clients download only their own documents.
Load CSV and XLSX files from analysers (for example NIR) with column mapping and a preview before committing. Match batches with ERP numbers.
Rotating swab points, escalations, reagent stock, solution batches and expiry dates.
E-mail and push notifications, out-of-specification alerts, a read-only API and webhooks for other systems.
A client or staff member creates an order and chooses a test package. The sample gets a number.
The analyst enters or imports results. The system calculates values and evaluates them against limits.
Rules check competence, instrument calibration and a second person when the method requires it.
A signed PDF report goes to the client. Every change stays in the history.
The records and rules auditors ask about are created during the work, not days before the visit.
CandorLims supports working in line with requirements such as ISO/IEC 17025, IFS Food and BRCGS: it provides tools, records and rules. It is not a certificate and does not replace your management system or an accreditation body's assessment.
Further areas of ISO/IEC 17025 (for example measurement uncertainty and document control) are on the roadmap.
CandorLims is under active development. The core workflow, from order to certificate, is in place, and we are refining it for small food laboratories. Information about availability will be published on this page.
No. Laboratories are certified or accredited, not software. The system provides features, records and rules that support those requirements.
Small and mid-sized laboratories in the food industry, in-house or contract, that want structure and traceability without an enterprise implementation project.
In a standard PostgreSQL database that you own and can export at any time.
Results and dictionaries can be loaded from CSV and XLSX files with column mapping and a preview.
This information site is available in English and Polish. The application itself, its documentation and reports are currently in Polish.
In Latin, candor means radiant whiteness and, by extension, sincerity and openness. That is the standard we hold ourselves to: a system that is clear, and honest about what it does and what it does not.
